1. To perform Mechanical Design Calculations for process equipment viz. Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Towers/Columns using the design codes like ASME, IS, API, TEMA as applicable Software.

 

2. Preparation of Mechanical data sheet from PFD/P&ID’s. Review of P&IDs, PFDs based on the input and Process philosophies shared in the ITB/FEED Documents. •Selection of the Vendors based on the techno economy.

3. Preparation of mechanical data sheets and bill of material. Data sheets for mechanical equipment Design basis and standard drawings Design calculations Fabrication drawings and materials.

 

4. Generate/Modify/Check AutoCAD drawings and guiding draftsman in performing his/her duties.

 

5. Engineering Coordination; At the state of the project, the participating agencies as Contractors, Vendors

6. Sites visit for data collection and commissioning & installation of turnkey projects.

 

Work Profile

 To maintain the calculation sheets pressure vessel, Heat Exchanger, & drawing.
 Preparation, verification and validation of process equipment design and drawings.
 Preparation of bill of material.
 Preparation of material requisition.
 Verification/Analysis of offers of bought out components.
 Tender analysis of equipments
 Making technical specifications for floating tenders, review offers,
 Review of vendors drawings/documents, providing technical clarifications etc.
 Working with major consultants for handling medium and large scale projects.
